Hello, David Thomas here and I warmly welcome you to my new-look website "La Hacienda and Other Stories", which is dedicated to the time I spent in the British Merchant Navy during the late 1970's and into the early 80's with Buries Markes. The site is packed with information and photos, just click on each image below to navigate through to each section and you will find plenty to keep you occupied. The Port Side lamp contains all the Buries Fleet, whilst the Starboard Side lamp contains all the Crew - Lists. I hope the site stirs memories of what seems a bygone age, please feel free to contact me with your own tales or photos.
